Shift Responsibilities
- Greets assigned team at identified location (bus drop off, team check-in area, etc.)
- Escorts team to check-in and warm-up area.
- Ensures the team is at their warm-up area during assigned warm-up time.
- Escorts the team to their staging area 15 minutes prior to scheduled game time.
- Confirms that the correct team is housed in their assigned field of play
- Directs team to exit the field of play quickly after each game to uphold the competition schedule.
- Communicates effectively with the Field of Play Assistant when water/ice needs to be replenished and/or team has additional needs.
- Ensures the field of play/team area is clean and organized at the conclusion of game.
- Escorts the team out of the dugout at the conclusion of the game and confirms they are aware of their next scheduled game time.
- Maintains a copy of assigned team’s schedule.
- Generally monitors field of play
