Volunteer Opportunities From: Special Olympics Southern California - Southern Counties

Shift Responsibilities:

Escort athletes through skills stations, monitoring flow and assist with scoring:

Lead assigned competitors through each skill station Assist with keeping competitors and spectators at a safe distance, away from the hitting areas Help alleviate congestion of people around skills station After escorting athlete through all skills stations, submit score card to the scoring area

Volunteer Responsibilities:

Capture photos of athletes, coaches, volunteers during event. Will shoot during Opening Ceremony, Bowling and Awards.

MUST HAVE OWN PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT. Ideal to have equipment suited for action photography in various lighting situations, including low-light areas. 

Shift Responsibilities:

Assist division with scorekeeping each roundUpon check-in, receive course/hole assignment and any special instructions/informationWhile at hole, stay far enough ahead of the players so as not to interfere with their playMonitor where the golf ball lands and assist in finding any lost balls during the course of play
